“Just as ripples spread out when a single pebble is dropped into water, the actions of individuals can have far-reaching effects.” – 14th Dalai Lama
The above quote by the enlightened 14th Dalai Lama has become our mantra here at One Small Stone. In this quote the Dalai Lama references what we at One Small Stone call The Ripple Effect. Basically, The Ripple Effect begins by understanding that the actions of one impact the reality of many. Every single person influences the world and populations they come in contact with on a daily basis. Once a person begins the process of taking responsibility for their thoughts and actions, one can begin to have a positive influence on those they come into contact with.
Each individual on earth has the capability to share their love and light with every being they come into contact with on a daily basis. Often, all that is needed is a kind word, smile, or just loving thoughts directed towards another to have a far reaching impact on the person’s environment. The Ripple Effect is about consciously treating others as you want to be treated every moment of every day. By changing ourselves, we can change the world.
Imagine that the Earth is a giant pool of still water. Now visualize a pile of small stones next to this pool of calm water. Each small stone represents an individual’s thoughts, ideas, and actions. What happens when these small stones are dropped into the water? They create ripples. At some point, after enough small stones are dropped into the water, the ripples begin to converge. Our goal at One Small Stone is to encourage everyone to drop their small stone into the water, so that loving energy engulfs our planet.
Transformation begins within. However, this transformation does not have to be a journey you make on your own. We would like to help by offering Reiki therapy, energy interpretations, and writings on topics such as: Cultural Sociology, Earth Ascension, History, Lifestyle Wellness, Multi-Dimensional Existence, Philosophy, Preservation of Local Cultural Practices, Reiki, Religions, and Sustainable Living. By working together and pooling our resources, we endeavor to establish a natural sanctuary where others can come to learn and benefit from projects.
One Small Stone contributors have varying degrees and certifications, including a member pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work, a member with a Masters in the Art of Teaching, and even a certified beekeeper. Because we incorporate our academic studies with our personal life experiences, our blogs are written from academic and personal perspectives. One Small Stone is made up of a group of light workers, who believe that when we join together, we collectively create loving energy to assist in positive transformations of our surrounding communities. We explore practices and information that promote holistic wellness for all life forms and planetary energies.
We are a group of individuals who have collectively chosen to drop our small stones into the pool of collective consciousness. We hope that you will join us by dropping your own small stone into the pool so that together we may create greater waves of change within our world.
